Hotspots in Shanghai – Peter Heshof

1. Take a taxi ride at night to see the fluorescent highways in Shanghai.

2. If you want to eat the best sushi in Shanghai in a metropolitan atmosphere, go to Shintori at Juli road.

3. Shanghai M50 Art community was an old textile mill but is now the place for comtemporary Chinese artists.

4. This Las Vegas-like-skyline is very popular in the evening.

5. If you like a good view, go to JinMao tower and take the elevator to 88 floor.

6. Visit IKEA and experience how Chinese people take advantage of the store. Read also Peter’s column in Marketing Tribune.

7. Fly 310 km per hour – with the Bullettrain to Beijing.

8. The party spot in SH is club M1NT. Be sure your are on the guestlist.

9. If you like an overkill of flagship stores of the most luxurious fashion brands, go to Plaza 66.

10. If you are looking for a nice neighboorhood with small design shops and Chinese hipsters, go to French Concession.
