Urban Mobility: interview with BMWi

At BMW Group they develop all sorts of concepts and new cars based on the thought that more people will live in cities and move themselves around. Efficiency and power, that is what BMW stands for. With which solutions will the German car manufacturer come? And according to Chris Collet (director MINI and responsible for BMWi in the Netherlands) what is the future of driving and mobility?

MINI development

Naturally the return of the MINI in 2001 is already the example of the return of a small compact city car, and equipped with luxury and premium comfort it is a first step in this area. And the MINI keeps developing. Soon there will be a MINI Coupe and they are busy with the study model of the MINI Rocketman - an even smaller MINI, which comes close to the dimensions of the MINI that was built in 1959. It is still a study model, as they call it at BMW. That’s how BMW renews. Consumers don’t realize that already around the world  the latest test and study cases are driving around and where consumers are testing the new driving experience…….
