Two Worlds
‘Letting go’, the theme of this issue of Second Sight, visualized by Rolinka Kattouw.
Letting go: let it all happen! Let go of control, no more interventions, let things be! Could this be a calling to the art of letting go and surrender; with trust as the most essential precondition? Do we have to combine it with space and freedom, creativity and spontaneity? Or should we maintain a careless indifferent attitude in avoidance of getting too close and involved, hence disregarding responsibility? Just basically being passive, insecure, frightened and suspicious of the things both known and unknown.
Two worlds tangled into one, a curdled state of being, waiting for whatever is to come. The question remains the same however, is it a matter of not-doing or doing nothing at all?
